Details: 1997 Saturn SL1166K MilageManual transmissionThe car is in good shape over all. I have owned it for three years. The engine still runs strong. New Alternator, Battery and Shifter Cables all done in the last year. However, the car smokes and burns oil. it does NOT over heat, and still drives strong. It is most likely the valve seal cover/head gasket.I just bought a newer SUV and don´t want to bother to repair it or keep a second car and insure it. It is a great parts car or if you can do or get repairs done cheaply, its a great deal. Happy to answer any other questions. New Alternator, Battery and Shifter Cables all done in the last year. However, the car smokes and burns oil. it does NOT over heat, and still drives strong. It is most likely the valve seal cover/head gasket.I just bought a newer SUV and don´t want to bother to repair it or keep a second car and insure it.
