Details: 2000 Saturn SW2 181,995 milesruns great. New tires. Just replaced brakes, always changed oil every 3000 miles. Everything works: AC, power windows, new stereo with cd player and AUX input. Gets 28mpg city and 33mpg highway. I´ve driven this car from Nashville to Chicago and back literally over 30 times in the past two years. Never broken down. The only thing wrong with this car is it has started to shift gears hard. The transmission in it was put in in August 2009. Took it to a mechanic today and he said the trans needs a new valve body. He quoted me at $1100. I asked how urgent the repair was and he told me I could drive the car as it is for 10 years, it´s just going to shift hard. So, I´m looking to just get rid of it and upgrade. I´m asking $2000 and no less. I can donate it and get a better tax write off if I can´t get $2000 for it. This would be a great first car or cheap car to use to just get around town. He quoted me at $1100. I asked how urgent the repair was and he told me I could drive the car as it is for 10 years, it´s just going to shift hard. So, I´m looking to just get rid of it and upgrade.
