Details: I have a 1994 Saturn SL1 for sale. I purchased this car from a neighbor less than a year ago. This is a good car, great on gas and the neighbor had a new engine put in the car before purchased it but the nody has mileage is 223k. I am the 3rd owner of this car and a non smoker. I have kept up regular full service oil changes . I have kept the car clean inside and out , it has very ,very ,very littlle to no rust.The last time this car was driven was on Monday 2/27/2012, the hood wasn´t all the way down and it flew up while I was driving and it bent the front of the hood upward some and it shattered but didnt break the glass(both can be replaced). The car can´t sit in the parking lot of my apartments according to the leasing office so I have to get rid of it. ITS DRIVEABLE!!!! if you would like to test drive it you will need more bungees to keep the hood down it cant be driven fast due to the hood situation and you can test drive it in the apartment complex, speed and hood wise.......I HAVE TAKEN THE PRICE FROM $1100 obo TO $650 firm, IT HAS TO GET OUT MY APARTMENT PARKING LOT(LEASING OFFCE WANTS IT OUT). I put a new muffler on and right before I purchased it my neighbor had a new engine put in the car so only the body mileage is 223k......THINGS THAT ARE WRONG:HOOD( can be replaced for about $50-60 from a junk yard I have checked)WINDSHIELD( can be replace for a little over $100, small windshield)The fan in every car usually comes on automatically but in this car it doesnt( It still works normal I have a switch that was put in so when u get ready to drive you can flip it on before you start your ride and turn it off at your destination, it still works the same )STRUT (back left)Brakes ( front only $20.00 @ auto store)ALIGNMENTINTERIOR LIGHT( is working fine it just has duct tape holding it up it came down and I had no other way to put it back up)The car can be driven away if u have extra bungee cords and at your own risk (police wise) due to the window and Hood. Details: PLEASE READ THE WHOLE POSTING before replying...I have a 99 Saturn sc2, It was my daily driver (unless it snowed hard - which it hasnt all winter!) about 160,000 miles, looks good, runs good. 30mpg+. 4cyl automatic 4speed. New brakes, new battery, newer tires, net starter, alternator, water pump, fresh tune up. Only issue is power Moonroof don´t work, burns a lil oil (but what Saturn dont right?) has an exhaust leak - but isnt so loud that it will wake up the nieghbors!. Looking to get about 1700, only reason I´m selling is because i have too many cars and neighbors are complaining lol serious inquiries only, no tire kickers. This 2004 ION Redline is 1 of only 1200 ION Redline´s made in 2004, and happens to be the only year that the car was made in Electric Blue.
