Details: This is not the prettiest car but it has been reliable and gets great gas mileage. Typically 35 -- 38 mpg, never lower then 32. When we take it north to Grand Rapids we get 41 mpg. Odometer reads 185,600. It needs some work such as a muffler and maybe brakes but nothing major that I know of. Kelly Blue Book for this car in fair condition is $2,012, asking only $1,800.Selling only because I bought another one just like it but with a cleaner inside. The new one however does not get as good gas mileage. I have heard that some of these just get better mileage then others and if that is true this may be one of those. Details: This Vue came into my shop as a no start, long story short, it needed a new motor, and the original customer didn´t want to fix it. So I bought it from her and fixed it and drove it for 15,000 miles. The replacement motor was bought from triple a auto salvage and it had 41,000 miles on it when I put it in this suv. I have changed the oil every 3,000 miles and spent about 30 hours cleaning it (the whole interior was pulled out and the carpets were bleached, trust me, it´s as clean as it´s going to get). As you can tell I also put rims on it at the begining of last summer, along with new tires. This Vue has a 5 speed manual (you don´t want an automatic in a Vue, it´s a cvt transmission and they have ALOT of issues) with a 4 cylinder. It should give you gas mileage in the mid 20´s. The air blows cold (you´ll need that for the next 8 or so months) and it has a cd player, Saturn oversized floor mats, new shocks in the rear, and a new trailer hitch (I pulled two snowmobiles with it). Oil was changed at 50 miles, 500 miles, and just this weekend at 4,000 miles.I average 31mpg mixed city/highway. As a commuter car it´ll get 35mpg highway. The ONLY reason I´m selling this car is because it´s too small. I make weekly trips to pick up supplies for my restaurant and thought I could make this car work. The trans slips into third gear but I have no problems driving this car anywhere. Just letting off the gas pedal at shift lets is shift down. Other than that....no problems.
