The vehicle has no engine problems other than needing a new timing belt. The automatic locks broke and drained the battery so I got the battery replaced, there is a brand new battery in the car now and the automatic locks were repaired. 2.) Does not come with a key fob so the doors must be unlocked with a key, or replaced by a dealer (unsure)3.) The water pump was replaced before winter.4.) It burs a lot of Oil and needs new valves and rings, it is NOT a blown head gasket, its getting blow-by from the valves. its about a $600.00 Fix well worth it.This is everything that has been done to the car while in my possession the last owner was my uncle and he drove it from Millington to flint, so mostly hi-way miles, and I drove it to work down the block and on occasion to flint so still mostly hi-way miles. This is a good car, great on gas and the neighbor had a new engine put in the car before purchased it but the nody has mileage is 223k. I am the 3rd owner of this car and a non smoker. I have kept up regular full service oil changes . I have kept the car clean inside and out , it has very ,very ,very littlle to no rust.The last time this car was driven was on Monday 2/27/2012, the hood wasn´t all the way down and it flew up while I was driving and it bent the front of the hood upward some and it shattered but didnt break the glass(both can be replaced). The car can´t sit in the parking lot of my apartments according to the leasing office so I have to get rid of it. ITS DRIVEABLE!!!! if you would like to test drive it you will need more bungees to keep the hood down it cant be driven fast due to the hood situation and you can test drive it in the apartment complex, speed and hood wise.......I HAVE TAKEN THE PRICE FROM $1100 obo TO $650 firm, IT HAS TO GET OUT MY APARTMENT PARKING LOT(LEASING OFFCE WANTS IT OUT). Details: 04 Saturn Ion Level 3. 124,XXX miles. 2.2L Engine, and is a 5 speed, great gas mileage, i get 32mpg average.~Completely loaded: Black Leather interior, sunroof, spoiler, fog lights, professionally tinted windows ($300), 6 Disc Cd Player, XM ready, Bucket seats, SUICIDE DOORS (so technically a 4 door coupe). Everything works in this car. ~Has 2 new tires on the front, tires on back still have plenty of tred. Also comes with a 3rd new tire. ~Just had an oil change, and put Synthetic oil in, so wont need an oil change for 6,000 miles. Also changed the filter.I love this car but I have to drive to downtown Lansing for school, and driving a stick in that is not fun. So I am forced to sell my baby and buy an automatic. Details: Are you looking for a wonderful car that gets great gas mileage? This 3 door coupe is the answer. Although the car has cosmetic problems it runs like a charm. We averaged around 35 MPG or more. This Saturn has 114,083 miles on it; most of the mileage is highway miles. The only reason we are selling is because we needed to look for a family vehicle that was easier to navigate a carseat.
