I still owe $400 on the car, that is why I am asking $2500. I originally payed $4000 for the car. Since then I have replaced the main frame of the motor, the radiator, the heat sensor, the fuel filter, the water pump, the top heater hose the starter, and recently put on 3 new tires, bought a new battery (3 months old) and had the oil changed. Has 157,000 something on it, but thats the body. The motor its self only has 34, 000 something. Ok, Im no idiot and I know you arent either, so ...Heres the bad:driver side mirror needs replacingliner inside needs replacing ( ^both are cheap, they just havent bothered me so I didnt replace it)ac needs freon no cd player (I put it in myself and will be keeping it)some MINOR body damage ( light scratches on the front)back driver window is off track (can be put back on easy, I just do not know how to take off door panel)the inside light does not worksservice engine light is on but the car starts and runs great, just never had it checkedonly running problem is a slight shaking when the car is slowing down (thats due to needing brakes)And the good:3 new tiresrecent oil change157,000 something miles on body 34,000 something miles on motorseats are clean and well kept uppower windowsGREAT heater!relatively new wiper bladesgreat gas mileage (between 25-35 mpgh) power locks (driver door buttons stick some times, but if it sticks just push it again & it unsticks)car runs wellnew batteryI realize that there is quite a bit wrong with the car and so some money will need to be put into it to get it back to top shape, however the car is in good shape, runs, starts and drives well and is a cute car. $2500 is NOT a bad deal, but I am willing to work with you, no low ballers though, Im not getting rid of it dirt cheap, I need the money to get the car paid to get the title to you and enough to at least get a decent down payment on a decent car for myself , as I commute to work. Gets 28mpg city and 33mpg highway. I´ve driven this car from Nashville to Chicago and back literally over 30 times in the past two years. Never broken down. The only thing wrong with this car is it has started to shift gears hard. The transmission in it was put in in August 2009. Took it to a mechanic today and he said the trans needs a new valve body. He quoted me at $1100. I asked how urgent the repair was and he told me I could drive the car as it is for 10 years, it´s just going to shift hard. So, I´m looking to just get rid of it and upgrade. I´m asking $2000 and no less. I can donate it and get a better tax write off if I can´t get $2000 for it. This would be a great first car or cheap car to use to just get around town.
